Palo Alto Creamery is located in the heart of Palo Alto at 566 Emerson St, right at the intersection of Hamilton Ave and Emerson St, making it very easy to find. It’s a spacious restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere and consistently great service. The food is delicious and served quickly, even during busy times. This place is especially well known for its burgers, which are flavorful and satisfying. I personally loved the chicken wings the spicy and sweet flavors were spot on and the fries were crispy and tasty. It’s an excellent spot for friends and family gatherings, whether you’re looking for a casual meal or a relaxed dining experience. Street-side parking is available, which is convenient given the central location. Overall, a reliable and enjoyable place for good food, fast service, and a comfortable dining experience. Highly recommended!

I enjoyed a late breakfast here. My waiter told me that they are known for their milkshakes. I was recommended to have the dish shown, a hash brown pie. The flavors were nice. Service here is great and the atmosphere feels like an old time diner. Prices seemed a bit high even for the area for breakfast dishes. It is worth a visit if you are craving diner food in the downtown Palo Alto area.

Retro diner-style restaurant with a friendly staff, and a great selection of ice cream and pies. Also a plus is that my water was never empty, a basic thing that other restaurants miss sometimes. Keep up the good work.

I've been coming here for decades and love the diner vibe and atmosphere. Prices have definitely gone up, but the burgers and milkshakes are well worth it. They also serve breakfast all-day!

Palo Alto Creamery has such a warm and inviting vibe... clean, charming, and great for families. The staff was truly wonderful!! Friendly, upbeat, and very attentive, which really made our visit enjoyable. The food wasn’t quite what we hoped for this time. The salad dressing was a bit too thick and the greens could have been fresher, and the burger was more on the average side. Still, with the great atmosphere and genuinely lovely service, the place has a lot going for it. I’d be happy to give it another try.

A local classic and must try if you love legacy local spots. Super authentic with all the decorations of a old school dinner. Corned beef was real corned beef and not some pre-made "stuff". Pies were out of this world! Skip the trendy spots around here and get some real good food.

we went to Palo Alto Creamery because it is across the street from our hotel (Nobu). the food was very typical diner type food. good all-american diner type food. i had the scrambled eggs with ham mushrooms and avocado. it was very wholesome :). we all tried their milkshakes (my family tried the coffee and chocolate milkshakes but i think the best flavor was my sons banana with vanilla milkshakes (not on the menu; they just made one for him) their service was excellent. they gave us a cup of coffee while we waited in line. would i go back again ? Absolutely. it was a very good breakfast and the milkshakes, which everyone says is the best, are very good. try the banana vanilla milkshakes, i really thought that tasted really good
